With an extensive background as a general contractor and kitchen and bath designer, Jon Pettus is an expert in custom cabinetry, ornate moldings, columns and paneled walls libraries. His furniture, architectural woodwork and designs are as beautiful as they are solid and well built. He provides the structural basis for Alene’s textured surface artwork.

Alene Pettus is an artist educated at the Ringling School of Art and Design. She is a master in Venetian plaster, faux finishes, stenciling, guilding and applied ornament. She has an intuitive artistic sense with a reliable ability to interpret a client’s or interior designers direction. “Whether we are working with the interior designer, the architect or the homeowner on their behalf, coordinating the entire environment to the clients satisfaction comes though teamwork,” says Alene.

The team at APR is fueled by the love of the work, or rather, the art of the work. Jon and Alene devote travel time in Europe to researching period styles, giving them ability to beautifully reproduce authentic styles and study old world technique.
